The process pipe of instrument pipe fittings shall be purged to prevent the ferromagnetic material remaining in the pipe from adhering to the instrument, affecting the performance of the instrument, or even damaging the instrument. If unavoidable, a magnetic filter should be installed at the inlet of the instrument. The instrument itself does not participate in the gas scavenging before putting into production, so as to avoid damaging the instrument. Before the instrument is installed in the process pipeline, all packages should be removed and checked for transport damage. And the shell is opened to take away the filler for fixing the pointer.
The installation form of instrument valve is divided into vertical installation and horizontal installation. In case of vertical installation, the angle between the center vertical line and the plumb line of the instrument shall be less than 2 degrees. In case of horizontal installation, the angle between the horizontal center line and the horizontal line of the instrument shall be less than 2 degrees.
Because the signal of instrument pipe is transmitted by magnetic coupling, in order to ensure the performance of the instrument, ferromagnetic material is not allowed at least 10 cm around the installation. The diameter of the upstream and downstream pipes of the instrument shall be the same as that of the instrument, the connecting flange or thread shall match the flange and thread of the instrument, the length of the upstream straight pipe section of the instrument shall be 5 times of the nominal diameter of the instrument, and the length of the downstream straight pipe section shall be greater than or equal to 250mm.
